Assistant General Manager. (Madrid) Acted as wholesale (Végé) commercial manager. Increased sales, reducing by 2/3rds. the cash outstanding and heightening commercial image, creating a new franchise concept. Researched the Spanish retail market in order to provide the 5 years strategic plan, the President of PROMODES and the Group Strategy Committee approved this plan.
Regional Manager Barcelona. (Barcelona) Responsible for the first development of the DIA chain of stores outside Madrid, with full responsibility for set-up and manage the first 50 shops, regional offices, transport fleet and warehouse. Recruited and manage an organisation of 200 staff from scratch.
Regional Manager Sevilla. (Seville) Responsible for boosting the development of this region, including all South Spain. Devised and implemented a new mode of organisation adapted to a more complex distribution network for large geographical regions. Organised the merge process between DIA and PRECO involving 1,200 retail shops.
