ABOUT ABSITE

ABsite was founded in 1995 to provide "full Web services" from website design and development, search engine optimisation and website marketing, hosting websites and domain names, programming web applications and databases.
ABsite founder, Mauricio Garcia Ponte has a background in Law and a Master in business administration (MBA). After 10 years working for a mayor retail corporations in Spain and France as regional director, Information Systems (IS) manager and strategy consultant, he then went to the UK to work during 9 years as senior consultant for a large international British IT manufacturer, based between London and Paris and participating in major multinational deals across several European countries.
In 1995 he started what is now ABsite and has experience the ups and down of the dot.com market.
Since its inception ABsite specialised it self in Open Source Technologies that delivers the features needed to develop robust and scalable applications at a cost effective price. ABsite has been using Open Software and Linux systems since 1995; we continue to benefit from this decision today.
As Internet tools become more accessible, we are doing more database driven websites and Content Management (CMS) tools empowering our client to do more than just routine maintenance of their websites.
We have developed several development Frameworks that allows our clients to share the benefits of our accumulated experience.
As the projects become bigger, although we still do most of the programming work in house, we also have developed the expertise required to outsource when needed. This allow us to offer our service at very competitive price. We have relation with developers in eastern European countries so we are able to fulfil large development and maintenance projects at a modest cost.

Who are our clients?

Our portfolio includes several web portals, small and medium and international companies, and many professionals like antiques dealers, fashion stores, recruitment services, artists and many yachting and boating companies. We develop websites for clients in the South West London area (Fulham, Kensington and Chelsea, Hammersmith, Wandsworth, Battersea and Westminster) but we also have clients across the UK including Surrey, Hampshire, Sussex, Berkshire, Kent and the West Midlands and we also cater for several international clients.
